If you are planning to rent a tux for prom, Fremont House has a selection of tuxedos for rent. 10% of sales will go back to the Junior class to be used for prom costs. Stop in by May 1 to rent your tux.

The MCHS SAGA club is observing a Day of Silence today to bring awareness to anti-LGBT name-calling, bullying and harassment in schools. Students have taken a vow to be silent in an effort to encourage our school and community to address the problem of anti-LGBT behavior by illustrating the silencing effect of bullying and harassment.

The next Academic Boosters Club CAREER LUNCH is happening Wednesday, May 3, in the Learning Center. (That’s next week!) A representative from Merced College will present general information on what Merced College has to offer as well as information on their CTE programs. If you are interested in finding out how Merced College might be a great choice for you, join us May 3, get your questions answered, and enjoy a free pizza lunch. Sign up in the Counseling Office.

Career Day is tomorrow.  Please be sure that you wear your "game day" attire as you will be participating in Mock Interviews with local community members.  It is required for you to dress professionally for this event. If you need something to wear, visit the Counseling Office and see Ms. Rider and we'll help you dress for success!

*Looking for a Summer Job or full time work after graduation? Check out the Job Opportunity Board outside the counseling office for full and part time employment openings.

Here’s a great opportunity that’s posted on the job board! There is a Lifeguard training course being offered through Parks and Rec during spring break. This course doesn’t guarantee you a job as a Lifeguard at the pool this summer but it is the first step and a great way to make a first impression.

Yearbooks are on sale in room 7, for $70.  Buy yours now before they're sold out.  Checks can be made payable to MCHS.

Prom 2017 is on May 13th at the Tenaya Lodge.  This year's theme is "Diamonds are Forever". Colors are black, white, silver and red.  Tickets can be purchased at lunch in front of the school - $70 with ASB card and $75 without. Guest passes must be approved before you can purchase a ticket for the guest. All fines and detentions must be cleared before a ticket can be purchased.
